Big day yesterday professor @davephim promoted Lisa to the rank of brown belt.... Lisa is Rampart Academy jiu jitsu school`s first to obtain the rank of Brown belt. She is also the first "RED ROOSTER" female brown belt. Big congratulations in all your hard work and achievement Lisa !

Last weekend 15 of our kids competed at NAGA in Hillsborough. It was the most kids we havr taken to competition. 9 of them received medals 2 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze (and a NAGA Sword). So proud of all of them and how hard they worked to prepare and for giving their best on every single match.
So grateful to Coach Kevin, Andres, Melissa, and Jess for all their efforts in giving the kids the coaching they needed.
I would like to thank the parents for making this happen without their support none of this would be possible.

This weekend, we went to compete at jiu jitsu World League and were allowed to join in with team Inverted Gear Academy, who took 4th place as a team and first place in elite 8. It was an honor to be able to compete with them. Mike took gold in his first competition as a blue belt, melissa won gold at Blue Belt, and Dave took silver in white belt division. I am so proud of the three competitors that went out there and represented the school. Their contributions were able to provide Inverted Gear Academy points for team awards.

One of the best things I love about having a school is seeing an individual`s growth. With that being said, im fortunate to have some talented students. Purple belt is where I was allowed to start teaching jiu jitsu and is where I began to develop a deeper understanding of the art. Im super excited about Frankie starting a morning class at the school and am excited about seeing his growth.
