These three background couldn`t be more different off the mat but are brought together by one common goal: to train, learn, and help each other get better.
That is one of the greatest things about Jiu-Jitsu. Once you step onto the mats, it does not matter where you came from, what you do for a living, or what your life looks like outside the academy. We all struggle together, grow together, and push one another to improve.
The techniques and lessons are important, but one of the greatest benefits of Jiu-Jitsu is the genuine friendships you make along the way. Different journeys, one team, and a shared pursuit of becoming better—both on and off the mats.

I have been waiting to post this until Mike K was able to compete because his competitors did not show up when we went to grappling industries. I could not be prouder of our adults who went out there to compete.
Every one of them stepped outside their comfort zone, tested themselves and represented the school with courage, discipline and heart. Even though we only had 5 competitors we came away with 3 golds and 2 silvers.
